SAS 2009 9th Annual Global Symposium on Motion Preservation Technology
April 28 - May 1, 2009 – London, England
As the SAS has evolved from a small group of surgeons discussing concepts in lumbar disc replacement to a mature spinal surgery society so too has the program for the annual meeting developed. The scientific program, with its international cast, will include high quality clinical and basic science abstracts selected based on their scientific rigor and relevance to the spine surgery community. In addition to quality presentations dealing with motion preservation, it will now have robust sessions on minimally invasive spinal surgery and biologics, both of which will likely be important in treating spinal disease while preserving function in the future. The program will contain symposia designed to highlight existing information in the field as well as to openly discuss and debate complications and short-comings of current surgical treatments of the spine. In addition, the live surgery course will highlight surgical techniques of interest to the meeting participants presented by experts in the field. Click here for registration information.
