Implanet Posts 19% First Quarter Increase in JAZZ Sales

Implanet announced on Tuesday September 19, 2017 that JAZZ sales for the first quarter ended June 30, 2017 rose 19%. Sales for the quarter were €2.4 million, which is up from €2 million reported in the first quarter of 2016

Implanet, which is headquartered in Bordeaux, France, is a leading medical technology company specializing in vertebral and knee surgery implants. The company’s overall revenue was €4.1 million for the first half of 2017.

According to a news release, JAZZ sales now account for 58% of total revenue, offsetting the expected decrease in the knee/arthoscopy segment.

In France, JAZZ sales increased by 24%, while sales growth in the rest of the world was 101%. Sales in the United States are stable and expected to grow. In addition, the priority adult degenerative spine disorder segment saw a 37% increase of sales to €0.7 million.
