A herniated disc is bad enough, but when you factor in radiating pain, it’s hellish. Ferring Pharmaceuticals (Parsippany, New Jersey) and its clinical development partner, Seikagaku Corporation (Tokyo, Japan), recently presented data from two phase 3 trials for a promising non-surgical approach to relieving radicular leg pain associated with lumbar disc herniation.
The new product does not have a brand name yet, but is tagged with the research moniker SI-6603 during its clinical studies.
