Ahead of the 2025 American Orthopedics Association (AOA) Annual Leadership Meeting, (June 2 – June 7) AOA President Alexander J. Ghanayem, M.D., FAOA, spoke to Orthopedics This Week about this year’s meeting and its themes for every orthopedic surgeon.

Ghanayem told OTW that the overriding theme of the annual meeting is advancing both the mission of musculoskeletal care and AOA’s goal to more broadly train all orthopedists.
