Citing a lack of information on the impact of increased comorbidities on the cost-effectiveness of total knee arthroplasty (TKA), a team from NYU Langone Health in New York and the Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Israel set out to right the situation.
Their work, “The Financial Burden of Patient Comorbidities on Total Knee Arthroplasty Procedures: A Matched Cohort Analysis of Patients Who Have a High and Non-High Comorbidity Burden,” appears in the December 24, 2024 edition of The Journal of Arthroplasty.
