The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has introduced its first internal generative AI tool which it has anthropomorphized as “Elsa’” For internal use only, Elsa will assess technology and assist with regulatory oversight.

According to the FDA, Elsa will be a welcome revolution.
