The Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) commemorated its 40th annual Tribute Dinner in spectacular fashion on June 2, 2025, celebrating 162 years of clinical excellence and innovation in musculoskeletal care. Held at the iconic American Museum of Natural History in New York City, the gala welcomed more than 800 guests and raised over $6.5 million in support of patient care, research, and medical education.

The evening paid tribute to several individuals whose leadership, service, and vision have profoundly shaped HSS. Hosted in a setting befitting the institution’s storied history, the event featured entertainment by Emmy Award-winning comedian Jim Gaffigan and a musical performance by the Castellows, adding a celebratory tone to a night of gratitude and recognition.
