A newly published peer-reviewed study has found that Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS), delivered via a novel diagnostic platform known as Nociscan, is more cost-effective and clinically effective than provocative discography in identifying surgical candidates with chronic low back pain.
The research, titled “The Comparison of Cost-Effectiveness Between Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Provocative Discography in the Identification of Chronic Low Back Pain Surgery Candidates,” appears in the January 2025 issue of Clinicoeconomics and Outcomes Research.
