Get ready to clear some OR shelf space—Zimmer Biomet just went full Iron Man.
In a move that could reshape the orthopedic robotics landscape (and possibly freak out a few surgical residents), Zimmer Biomet has announced it will acquire Monogram Technologies Inc. for an eyebrow-raising $177 million. That’s a lot of cash for some code and a few arms with better dexterity than most fellowship applicants.
