Dr. Gomez, originally from Bogotá, Colombia, earned his M.D. at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana before heading north for residency at Columbia University’s New York Presbyterian Hospital. Not content with a single fellowship, he doubled down: first at Harvard/Boston Children’s for pediatric orthopedics, then at NYU’s Hospital for Joint Diseases for spine surgery.
Now, with a career spanning clinical innovation, research, and global outreach, Dr. Gomez has joined Nicklaus Children’s, one of the top pediatric programs in the United States.
