If you thought the “expandable cage wars” were heating up, Highridge Medical just opened a second front — this time in surgical navigation. The Colorado-based spine company has inked an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement with Israel’s PathKeeper Surgical for its FDA-cleared PathKeeper Navigation System.
PathKeeper is no ordinary navigation platform. Think of it as GPS for spine surgeons — complete with a proprietary 3D optical camera, AI-driven imaging software, and sub-millimeter registration accuracy. The kicker? No intraoperative radiation. For surgeons who live and die by the pedicle screw, that’s a meaningful leap.
