The orthopedics industry has entered a new arms race: personalization. And with its first institutional investment — $104 million led by Partners Group — North Carolina–based restor3d just raised its flag on the battlefield.
This is the second $100 million investment in surgical implant personalization. Earlier this year, Carlsmed, Inc. raised $100 million in an initial offering of stock to fund its spinal implant personalization platform and market roll out.
