The University of California San Francisco has appointed Rajiv Sethi, M.D., Ph.D., as Chief of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery, and this is far from a routine hire.
After 15 years of building one of the most admired integrated spine programs at Seattle’s Virginia Mason Medical Center, Dr. Sethi is bringing his experience and approach to UCSF. At Virginia Mason, he helped develop a model for efficient, value-driven spine care that has been adopted by programs worldwide.
