Leading innovator in pain management and developer of Exparel—probably the single most impactful innovation in pain management in the history of orthopedics—Parsippany, New Jersey-based Pacira Biosciences, Inc. has invested $3 million in New York, New York-based Spine BioPharma, LLC.
The $3 million investment is a convertible note. Pacira has also promised an additional $7 million investment when Spine BioPharma achieves certain prespecified milestones.
