Penn Medicine has announced that the Wyss Medical Foundation has donated $4.9 million to establish an Orthoplastic Global Education and Innovation Hub at the University of Pennsylvania. The Wyss Medical Foundation was founded by Swiss businessman Hansjörg Wyss. Scott Levin, M.D., an orthoplastic pioneer and editor-in-chief of the five-year-old Orthoplastic Surgery journal, will lead the new innovation hub.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Wyss Medical Foundation for this generous and impactful gift,” Dr. Levin told OTW.
