For decades, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction has been the star quarterback of knee surgery. Reliable, predictable, and time-tested. But now, suture-augmented ACL repair (SA repair) is making a comeback, and a new meta-analysis in the Journal of Experimental Orthopaedics suggests it may deserve a roster spot — at least for carefully scouted patients.
