The OTW Technology Awards recognize breakthrough innovations advancing musculoskeletal care. This annual program highlights companies developing novel solutions that improve patient outcomes, enhance surgical techniques, or address unmet clinical needs in orthopedics.

Your submission fee covers a comprehensive evaluation by our panel of orthopedic surgeons and industry experts who assess entries based on clinical innovation, scientific merit, and potential impact on patient care. Winners receive significant exposure across OTW’s platform, an awards show, and a trophy to commemorate their achievement.
Rules For Entry:
To be eligible for the 2026-2027 Technology Awards, technologies can be:
- Any device, biomaterial, software-based device (robotic assist/navigation/artificial intelligence or augmented reality), or biologic product that was developed to improve the care of patients in your specialty (spine, pain management, extremities, trauma, foot and ankle, sports medicine, orthobiologics, hip, knee, or shoulder).
- The owners of the technology must have applied for patent protection within 36 months prior to the awards presentation.
- It need NOT be either FDA cleared or approved
- If FDA approved or cleared, such approval or clearance was received NO MORE than 12 months before the awards presentation
- No prior WINNING technology may be submitted again
