Ray Van Fossen, formerly with Medtronic, Inc. and Pioneer Medical Group, has joined Pinnacle Spine Group, LLC as the Vice President of Sales. According to Pinnacle Spine, Van Fossen brings more than 20 years of experience in spine and medical devices to the company’s team. He started as a sales representative for Medtronic; most recently Van Fossen held the position of VP of Sales for Pioneer Medical.
The December 5, 2014 corporate memo noted, “In his final year at Pioneer, he led the company to double-digit sales growth, helping make Pioneer a very attractive acquisition for another company within the spine industry.”
Paul J. Sendro noted in the memo, “You will find Ray to be a very forthright, pragmatic sales leader with whom I am sure you will enjoy working. We are excited and fortunate to have Ray joining our team.”
Van Fossen told OTW, “Pinnacle’s patented InFill technology provides a strong platform that we plan to complement with state of the art implant systems for our distribution partners. I expect that 2015 will be a break-out year at Pinnacle. Product line extensions, implant partnerships, acquisitions and an upgraded distribution network will result in record growth.”
