Gary D. Henley, a seasoned orthopedic executive with more than 33 years of experience, is the new Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at OrthAlign, Inc. Henley was at the helm of United Orthopedic Group from 2011 until 2014, where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member from 2006 until 2011. Henley served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wright Medical Group, Inc.
“Throughout my career in orthopedics, I have maintained a focus on bringing to market innovative technologies that lead to better patient outcomes, shorten recovery times, and provide surgeons with valuable tools to help them become even better surgeons, ” said Henley in the February 23, 2015 news release. “I like to bucket these types of technologies as patient AND physician-centric products. OrthAlign’s precision technology is very special and falls into this bucket; I am certain of its continued and growing success. While considering many different companies, the OrthAlign opportunity greatly appealed to me. I am proud to have joined OrthAlign.”
Henley also spent nine years at Orthofix International N.V. as President of it’s Americas Division, nine years as President of Smith & Nephew’s Endoscopy Video Division, and five years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cecorp, Inc.
