Drew Hamric, a 20 year veteran of the spine industry, has been brought on to the sales management team at St. Louis, Missouri-based CoreLink, LLC. Hamric is one of four new Regional Vice Presidents of Sales. According to the company, the expansion of talent is “fueled by aggressive investments in new product development and a commitment to their surgeon and distributor partners.”
Hamric has held positions of responsibility in strategic marketing, sales training, direct sales, and sales management. Drew believes his extensive career has prepared him for this role, stating, “With my varied skillset, I am well prepared to take on this new role. I enjoy working with sales agents to bring real clinical value to our customers and support the expansion of our surgeon partners’ clinical practices.”
Drew Hamric told OTW, “I am excited to be getting back into a fast-paced, growth-oriented company and am enjoying working with surgeons to help them improve their patients’ quality of life.”
“Drew has an incredible depth of knowledge in cross-functional and cross-departmental strategy in the medical device space. This will serve him well in an increasingly economic-minded, value-focused spine market. His clinical knowledge will bring value to distributors, surgeons, community hospitals, and IDNs [integrated delivery network] in the Western region,” Derek Kuyper, company vice president.
This company takes a cue from the adage, “If you want it done right, do it yourself.” CoreLink designs and manufactures more than 99% of its instruments and implants.
