King of Prussia, Pennsylvania-based Camber Spine has announced support for a vibrant local non-profit group, Building Up The Youth. Company donations, staff volunteers hours, as well as marketing and fundraising assistance, are all part of Camber’s push to work with this community organization on its inner city youth assistance and training programs.
Part of the company’s Camber Cares initiative, working with Building Up The Youth enhances the organization’s ability to provide positive mentoring, support and guidance for at-risk, inner city youth. The non-profit’s mission is to “provide mentorship and guidance to children to help them develop confidence, character and determination to persevere through the challenges life brings them.”
Recognized as a dynamic leader, Ernest Brown, founder and executive director of Building Up The Youth, has put together a menu of nurturing weekend programs for children, including mentoring, tutoring and homework assistance, school principal and teacher partnerships, community service activities, life skill training, fitness training and sports skills coaching, and more.
“I deeply love my community and believe in the promise of our youth,” said Brown in a company press release. “I’m forever grateful to the team at Camber Spine and their contributions to help Building Up The Youth rise to the next level, helping us get these wonderful kids what they need to succeed. And that is what this is all about—giving support and guidance to help more and more young people so that they flourish and grow into community contributors themselves.”
