David Dines, M.D., medical director of the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Education Institute, has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from Long Island Business News (LIBN).
Dr. Dines, a member of the Sports Medicine Institute at HSS who sees patients at HSS Long Island in Uniondale, received the honor at the publication’s Health Care Heroes Awards ceremony in Woodbury, Long Island on February 28. The awards “recognize excellence, promote innovation and honor the efforts of organizations and individuals making a significant impact on the quality of health care” in the region, according to LIBN.
